Speculation has been running wild that Activision’s new Call of Duty Game: Modern Warfare 3, will feature a subscription service for online play. Infinity Ward has repeatedly said that Modern Warfare 3 as well is all of its future games will never feature any sort of pay for play multiplayer feature. Creative Strategist and lead authority figure on all things MW3, Robert Bowling, set the record straight on twitter today by adamantly repeating that they will never have pay for play multiplayer. Even though setting up a World of Warcraft like system could be immensely profitable, it seems that the folks involved with Modern Warfare 3 are doing the noble thing and not milking money out of their customers.
